Code of Ethics of The Global Business and Finance Association (GBFA)

General Provisions
1.1. The Code of Ethics of The Global Business and Finance Association (hereinafter - the Code) establishes norms and rules of behavior for members of the Association aimed at maintaining high standards of professional ethics and promoting the development of business environment and entrepreneurship.
1.2. The Code is binding for all members of the Association and applies to their professional activities, interaction with colleagues, clients, partners and the public.

Professional competence and responsibility
2.1. GBFA members are obliged to maintain a high level of professional competence, constantly improve their knowledge and skills, follow new trends and innovations in the field of business and finance.
2.2. GBFA members shall perform their professional duties with the highest level of responsibility, with quality and on time, with integrity and attention to detail.
2.3. GBFA members shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as the internal regulations of the association.

Integrity and Transparency
3.1. GBFA members shall be honest and open in their professional dealings, provide accurate information and avoid deliberate misrepresentation.
3.2. GBFA members shall respect the intellectual property of others, avoid plagiarism and misuse of others' ideas and developments.
3.3. GBFA members shall avoid conflicts of interest and report any situations that may affect their objectivity and independence.

Respect and cooperation
4.1. GBFA members shall respect their colleagues, clients, partners and other members of the professional community, show tolerance and take into account diversity of opinions and cultures.
4.2. GBFA members shall foster an atmosphere of co-operation, exchange of knowledge and experience, support and encourage the development of professional relationships.
4.3. GBFA members shall avoid unfair competition and promote fair and equitable competition in the market.

Data protection and confidentiality
5.1. GBFA members shall respect the confidentiality of information obtained in the course of professional activities and shall take all necessary measures to protect personal data and trade secrets.
5.2. GBFA members shall use information only for legitimate and ethically justified purposes, avoiding its improper disclosure or use.

Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development
6.1. GBFA members shall promote entrepreneurship centered on the principles of sustainable development and social responsibility.
6.2. GBFA members shall support initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the community, including educational programmes, environmental projects and social initiatives.
7
Final Provisions
7.1. This Code shall come into force from the moment of its approval by the General Meeting of GBFA and shall be binding for all members of the Association.
7.2. Violation of the provisions of the Code may result in disciplinary action, including warning, temporary suspension of membership or expulsion from GBFA.
7.3. Control over compliance with this Code is vested in the Board Members, who have the right to consider complaints and make decisions on violations of the Code.
